BRINI channels movement as identity on ‘The Way I Move’

Vienna-based multidisciplinary artist BRINI returns with “The Way I Move”, a track where amapiano, pop and R&B meet through rhythm, body and intention rather than genre alone.

BRINI has built a creative practice that sits between music, dance and entrepreneurship, and this release reflects that intersection. As co-founder of Vienna Heels, Austria’s largest heels dance community, she has spent years exploring movement as expression, confidence and identity. “The Way I Move” extends that idea into sound, treating movement not just as choreography but as a way of existing.

The song was written during a self-led writing period in 2025 where BRINI challenged herself to create daily without overthinking direction or outcome. Out of that process came a track that feels instinctive and unforced, shaped by repetition, curiosity and flow rather than concept.

At the centre of the release is her idea of “/Z”, a personal framework she describes as balance in motion. It is less a fixed concept and more a space she returns to, where creativity, peace and energy can coexist.

Musically, “The Way I Move” brings together amapiano rhythms with pop structure and R&B textures, drawing influence from artists such as Tyla, Snoh Aalegra and the Jackson legacy. The result is a track designed as much for the body as for listening, shifting between dancefloor energy and softer reflective moments.

All proceeds from the release will be donated to ZARA, Austria’s anti-racism organisation, connecting the track’s message of movement and expression to a broader commitment to inclusion and cultural awareness.
