Indie outfit Night Walks unleash their debut album, Remember The Dawn

Baltimore foursome Night Walks have followed their string of 2025 singles with a glowing 9-track album, loaded with shiny guitar lines, bright synth work, and singable festival build melody lines. Having already dropped the likes of ‘Midnight Avenue’, ‘Momentum’, ‘Messages’ and ‘Pressure’, key tracks include ‘Room With a View’ which is packed with Sam Fender-style sax lines and soaring vocals, with an air of early U2 with the likes of ‘Sidelines’ and cinematic closer ‘City Of Lights’ which has 1975 style licks and We Are Scientists production qualities – a track that would sit neatly on ‘Brain Thrust Mastery’.

From themes of stagnation, romance, chaos, and blurry post-dinner-party antics, this shimmering 9-track album is an impressive debut, with the four-piece only forming in 2022. Proving not to be just a Covid-19 homebound hobby, Night Walks have gone from strength to strength.

The band explains, “‘Remember The Dawn’ is our statement of purpose. In the 2 years since we recorded our first track for it (Midnight Avenue), we’ve transformed into a truly collaborative project – sharing both songwriting and singing duties between David, Shawn, and Sam. We’ve honed in on a sound and style that is original and uniquely our own. It has been a long time coming for us, but we’re incredibly proud of the final product and excited to share it with the world.”

This album is a glowing endorsement of Baltimore indie rock, in a scene that showcases the likes of Combat, Twings, and Empris & The Gems. If this is the punch they can pack with their debut LP, Night Walks are clearly heading in the right direction.
