Electronic duo Rytika are arriving with anonymity; their introduction comes without a face, and is simply a showcase of their dance-pop intentions. It brims with the energetic pluck of dance synthesisers, the smooth, soaring melodies of pop and a shimmering, ethereal atmosphere. They’ve just released their debut single ‘Starryeyed’.
It begins with lone arpeggios, building up with pulsating chords and a bell-tone melody. A nocturnal gleam arrives with the drums. It feels like a kaleidoscopic dream with a buoyant sonic underbelly. Slightly hazy moments are contrasted with lively climaxes. The result is a silky and irresistible first outing of a duo looking to make an impact in the summer of 2026.
In their words, “We wrote Starryeyed as a reminder to stay curious. Even in the noise of the world, there’s still something sacred about looking up, breathing, and letting yourself feel wonder again.”
Building music for the digital world whilst their identities are shrouded in mystery, Rytika allow their project to centre solely around the rhythm and feeling their music provides. The two figures aim to be seen as one united frequency.
