Survivalist announce new album ‘A Place For Those Who Suffer, Alone’ via Seek & Strike Records

Belfast-based heavy outfit Survivalist have announced their new album ‘A Place For Those Who Suffer, Alone’, via Seek & Strike Records. The record marks the band’s most focused and expansive statement to date, building on the momentum of their previous releases while refining their signature Groovecore sound.

The album’s lead track shares its name with the record itself. ‘A Place For Those Who Suffer, Alone’ arrives as a clear mission statement, driven by dense low-end riffs, tightly coiled grooves, and a sense of restraint that allows each section to land with precision. A music video, released alongside the single, leans into stark, claustrophobic visuals, reinforcing the track’s themes of isolation, endurance, and internal pressure.

Across the album, Survivalist balances weight with control. Tracks such as ‘Radio Bleed’ and ‘Failure Of Being’ explore darker, more measured territory, while ‘Deathbed’, featuring Alex Koehler (Chelsea Grin, Ameonna), delivers one of the record’s most confrontational moments. A further guest appearance from Kid Bookie injects volatility without disrupting the album’s cohesion.

Survivalist have spent recent years sharing stages with Thy Art Is Murder, Polaris, Chelsea Grin and Kublai Khan, while also reaching wider audiences through a televised performance on Channel 5. With growing press support and a steadily expanding fanbase, ‘A Place For Those Who Suffer, Alone’ positions Survivalist as one of the most disciplined heavy acts emerging from the UK and Ireland right now.
