Unpacking anxiety and spiralling thoughts, ‘Tornado’ captures the chaos of catastrophising through soul, dance-pop and jazz-house.
A self-confessed overthinker, Tilly Valentine admits “Sometimes I really can be my own worst enemy. It’s so easy to let thoughts spiral, so I’m learning to treat them like a friend – with acknowledgement and kindness.”
‘Tornado’ instantly has us mesmerized thanks to a shimmering and radiant soundscape, that swiftly leads us to vibrant and funky beats and a stirring vocal performance from Tilly.
The Oxfordshire-born, London-based artist continues to cement her place as one of the UK’s most exciting independent voices.
