Fresh Surrey indie trio Sunday Smoke are keeping their momentum rolling in 2026. ‘Already Know’, their latest single release, has a warm, homely feel in its tone that develops into a gorgeously gentle slice of indie. With this being the third single they’ve released since their 2025 debut, they’ve quickly established the diversity of their sound.
A hearty acoustic strum grows into a mid-tempo ballad. Softer around the edges but no less appealing, it’s an honest tale of acceptance, grooving on with bright melodies but a mellow feel.
They explain, “This song is about acceptance, realising something isn’t going to work out, and letting it go without anger or regret. It’s about recognising when holding onto certain people and situations is harder than letting go.”
Becoming fixtures on the London circuit steadily but surely, the band are starting to rack up fans and listens. Each track draws in a new set of fans and convinces them of Sunday Smoke’s nostalgic talent. Every chorus is one you’ll catch yourself humming later in the day.
