Eric Hauss releases new album ‘Clear Eyes’

Eric Hauss just dropped his brand new album, Clear Eyes, which marks his first release since 2020. The seven-song record is simple, honest, and full of emotion.
From start to finish, it feels like a personal journey about letting go, healing, and moving forward.

The album kicks off with ‘Nutshell,’ an acoustic guitar–led song that sets the tone for the listener. The track lets Eric’s warm vocal approach take centre stage communicating to listeners immediately that this album is authentic and unpolished, in the best way.

The title song, ‘Clear Eyes,’ comes in at track three. Eric’s vocals sing a message of seeing the truth after being hurt. The line, “I never saw so clearly, through the
lies you told me,”
speaks of how sometimes pain can bring the clarity we need in life.

The album closes with ‘Release,’ a song that feels like a deep breath at the end of a long road. It sends listeners off with a sense of peace and acceptance.

Based in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, Eric Hauss is an acoustic singer-songwriter inspired by the ’90s rock and the unplugged scene. Clear Eyes is about resilience and learning to move forward through the pain. If you’re into raw, honest music that comes straight from the heart, this album is for you.
