Diva Destruction and Das Ich unite for a darkly euphoric remix

Since 1998, Diva Destruction has been a defining force in dark alternative music, spearheaded by the creativity and vision of singer, songwriter, and producer Debra Fogarty. Known for unforgettable tracks like “The Broken Ones” and a sound that fuses classical musicianship with industrial intensity, Diva Destruction has left an indelible mark on goth and post-punk audiences worldwide.

The latest release, “All I Want (Remix by Das Ich)”, sees Fogarty collaborating with Das Ich, the iconic German industrial band that recently topped the DAC Alternative Charts. The remix transforms Fogarty’s original song — itself a rare celebration of love and happiness — into a ferocious, theatrical dance track. Drawing on both artists’ classical training, the remix balances sweeping symphonic elements with driving electronic energy, creating a dramatic, club-ready anthem that still retains its emotional core.

The timing of this release coincides with Diva Destruction’s dramatic resurgence on the international stage. Over the past year, Fogarty has returned to live performance with a series of headline shows, including co-headlining Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig in front of 8,000 fans, her first major Los Angeles show in two decades, and festival performances in Mexico City and Santiago, Chile. These shows have demonstrated that Diva Destruction’s influence has not diminished — it has matured, evolved, and continues to resonate deeply with audiences worldwide.

Imagine if Beethoven wrote an intense song for the dance floor! Fogarty says of the collaboration. The comparison is apt: the combination of Diva Destruction’s emotive gothic sensibility and Das Ich’s industrial theatricality creates a remix that feels epic in scope yet profoundly human at its center.
