Pilar Victoria is closing out her year with something that feels soft and wintry, an intimate acoustic version of her 2024 release ‘Bloomed In Snow’. With Pilar’s signature sound already so elegantly gentle, it’s hard to imagine what a stripped-back, more tender version might look like. Nonetheless, the version is an effortless reinvention that lets the emotional core glow. Warming acoustic guitar, tranquil vocal harmonies and sliding ambient notes.
Written and produced once again alongside Happy Perez, the haziness of the atmosphere slowly lifts as you let yourself go. It’s dreamy textures and raw lo-fi sprinklings that, whilst maintaining the polish and talent that make Pilar exciting. Delicate assurance and an aching vulnerability.

Pilar’s early career has been remarkable, going viral at just thirteen years old, debuting an EP by fifteen and earning plenty of praise along the way. She’s been championed for her raw songwriting ability. A growing network of collaborators, including the aforementioned Happy Perez, as well as producer Rick Nowels. Another gorgeous addition to her catalogue.
