London based indie five piece Divided Compass make their return with an ambitious, high energy single titled ‘How You Meant to Love Me.’
Written by frontman Josh in 2024 while picking up guitar as his second instrument, it has evolved into their most personal song to date.
‘How You’re Meant to Love Me’ sees Divided Compass unveil a stirring and vibrant rock soundscape and uplifting vocals as they deliver this lively, feel good and heartfelt indie rock anthem.
The track captures the feeling of searching for the one true love who cares for you the way your closest friend does on a night out, only to realise they were there all along.
The single also pencils in the recently renewed line up featuring Joshua Ulysses (Vocals), Roo Thomas & Jude Warham (Guitar), David Whitmore (Bass) and Wilfred Pease (Drums).
Divided Compass have been working tirelessly on their live sound playing the London grassroots scene, and HYMTLM is a fitting start to a slew of releases planned for 2026.
