Independent distributor, promotions & sync agency, Music Gateway, has just launched an exciting new initiative for emerging artists in the UK & Ireland.
The Breakout Artist Programme will provide mentoring, opportunities and a £20k promotional fund for one talented artist in 2026. The Music Gateway team has a track record for supporting artists throughout all stages of their careers whether that’s helping an artist land their first editorial to working for major labels on global campaigns.
Joining Music Gateway on the hunt for the next big thing is a judging panel of industry leaders and key players. The first panellist has been announced as music legend Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, a long-term champion of independent artists and Music Gateway board member of nearly a decade. More panelists are to be announced over the coming weeks as well as additional prizes.

Applications for artists are now open and will close on 28th October.
The winner is to be announced on 8th January.
