JD Eicher marks 20 years with a US anniversary tour

American singer-songwriter JD Eicher is marking a milestone this autumn with a series of concerts across the United States, celebrating 20 years since he first began writing and performing original music.

The Ohio-based indie artist, known for his blend of melodic alt-pop and heartfelt lyricism, will perform a mix of acoustic shows and full-band concerts between September and November 2025. The tour begins in Cleveland, Ohio, on 18 September and concludes in Columbus, Ohio, on 20 November, with stops in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis along the way.

Eicher will be joined by longtime collaborators Dylan Kollat (drums) and Jim Merhaut (bass), with appearances from guest artists including Jesse Ruben, Steve Everett, and Aaron Newsome. Each show promises to revisit songs from across his two-decade career while also offering fans a glimpse of what’s next.

Though perhaps less of a household name in Britain, JD Eicher has carved out an impressive career in the States and abroad. He has supported internationally renowned acts such as Coldplay, Train, Maroon 5, and The Zombies, and in 2016 was personally selected by bestselling novelist Nicholas Sparks to compose music for his book Two By Two. Eicher’s title track went on to feature on Good Morning America.

For UK fans unable to attend the US dates, the tour still marks an exciting moment in Eicher’s career.
