Tilly Valentine returns with ‘Ammunition,’ flipping the script on heartbreak with a bold, slick blend of r&b, neo-soul and dance-pop.

Craving conflict to end a coasting relationship, Valentine says “No one talks about the heartbreak of leaving a good person. Ammunition is about knowing it’s over but trying to find a reason to walk away.”

The track begins with a gentle and mellow intro and beautiful harmonies that lead to catchy pop beats, which exude soulful vibes and perfectly compliment the vocal styling of Tilly Valentine.

With her signature sharp-witted vocals set against a hand-drawn music video, Valentine shares “When I was writing the song, I could picture the scenes playing out like a dramatic, comic-book showdown.

It felt like reality and fantasy colliding, and the video really plays on that.”

Praised by Glastonbury as “Distinctly British and refreshing,” Ammunition paves the way for her upcoming EP, following the success of lead single ‘Buzzkill,’ supported by BBC Radio 1.

Every breakup needs a trigger, and Ammunition is looking for the final blow.
