Born in Marbella, Spain, in 2004, Moheda emerged from Oliver Moheda’s defiance against his father’s role in the Civil Guard, fueling a punk rock ethos that challenged corruption and authority. The band’s early success saw them dominate Spanish festivals, amassing a global fanbase through relentless touring. After a controversial performance tied to Marbella’s Operation Malaya, Oliver relocated to New York City in 2008, where he honed his craft and collaborated with Alecia ‘Mixi’ Demner of Stitched Up Heart. By 2015, he was in London, steering the careers of rising artists as a tour manager and executive producer, all while nurturing his passion for music that sparks change.
In 2023, Oliver revived Moheda alongside London-based musician Natalie Abel, rekindling the band’s original fire with a modern edge. Invasion marks a bold new chapter, blending the band’s signature soul metal style with a fierce reflection on today’s world.
