Fresh from their debut headline gig and performing at a number of local festivals this summer, talented 19 year old twin sister duo Twayn, bring out their fourth release of 2024.
‘The Way It Is’ instantly has our attention with funky synth beats and then the talented twin sisters once again unleash clever lyrics and their beautiful vocal harmonies.
Written especially with festival season in mind, this empowering pop masterpiece calls out some bad male behaviours which would be called out as simply unacceptable if girls behaved in the same way.
In 2022, they came 2nd place in the Liverpool International Songwriting competition (out of over 22,000 entries) and played the iconic Exit/In in Nashville.
The girls only left school last June but have already supported the likes of Maius Mollis, Ruth Lyon, Oliver Pinder, Casey McQuillen, Kevin Davy White and Tors.
They released 10 songs in 2023 whilst studying for their A levels.
